When moving to Florida, you have lots of decisions to make. One is whether a house or a condominium is right for you.
Each option has its positives.
A single family home is perfect if you prefer privacy, need your own space where you can do whatever you want whenever you want to. If you prefer to just live with your partner or family, a condo won´t be ideal. If you choose a waterfront property, you may also have the choice of owning a boat and put it right behind your house for easy use.
On the other hand, if you want to avoid dealing with maintenance of your property, a condo may be the better choice. If you like to have certain amenities, like an on-site fitness center, tennis or a pool you don’t have to maintain, a condo is the way to go. Condos may not offer the same size property you may have with a house, but you will have a better chance to meet people. You may have spectacular views from a balcony that a house may not provide.
